Israeli Singer Static Pauses Career Due to Throat Swelling, Asks Fans for Patience
Israeli singer Static announced on his Instagram account that he is temporarily halting all activities due to a medical condition involving swelling in his throat, which prevents him from speaking for the next few days. He apologized to his hundreds of thousands of followers and requested they not be offended if he does not respond to messages, advising them to communicate only through written messages.
Recently, Static opened up about his emotional struggles related to his adoptive parents' aging, describing the difficulty of witnessing their decline and the impact it has on his personal decisions. He expressed a sense of obligation to stay close to them in Haifa and shared that while his father initially encouraged him to study law, his mother secretly supported his musical ambitions.
Static, who was formerly part of a musical duo with Ben El Tavori, launched a successful solo career about three years ago, releasing two solo albums by 2024 and performing at major venues such as the Menora Mivtachim Arena. His recent health setback has forced him to pause his career temporarily as he focuses on recovery.
