Unusual Incident in Jerusalem: Four Children Collapse in Mekor Baruch, Suspected Hazardous Materials
The 102 emergency center of Fire and Rescue received a report a short time ago about an incident in the Mekor Baruch neighborhood of Jerusalem, in which four children felt dizzy and fainted.
Following the report, a hazardous materials monitoring team from the Jerusalem District was dispatched to the scene.
Four children were evacuated to the hospital after feeling unwell and fainting in the Mekor Baruch neighborhood of Jerusalem. They are a one-year-old boy, a one-year-old girl, a three-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl, who were taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem suffering from weakness.
As a result of the incident, a hazardous materials monitoring team from Fire and Rescue Israel was called to the scene. Firefighters are carrying out tests in the building to rule out or detect the presence of hazardous materials that may have caused the children’s condition.
