If the professional staff of the NSN team were surprised by Nadav Reisberg’s excellent performances in one of the world’s most prestigious stage races, one thing is certain: he himself was not among the surprised. The Israeli rider finished another strong day today (Thursday) in the Tour de Dauphiné.

"I have always believed that if I get a chance to achieve results and not just work for others, I will deliver. So if anyone is really surprised by me, I definitely do not share that surprise. I have the ability, and I am happy to show it," said the kibbutznik from the NSN cycling team after another outstanding showing in the fifth stage of the Tour of the Alps.

As mentioned, Reisberg captured the green jersey already in the second stage, but few gave him a chance to continue defending it. Well, today he defended it in the most impressive way possible, finishing seventh in the race, collecting points and reaching 54, which opened a real chance to keep the jersey. Even so, after the race Reisberg kept his feet on the ground: "There is still a lot of work ahead, but if I win the intermediate sprint tomorrow, I will be in a much better position to keep it at least until the final stage."
