Hezbollah Prepares Military Escalation Against Northern Israel Awaiting Tehran's Approval

Lebanese political sources informed Emirati news site Aram News on Wednesday that Hezbollah is preparing a military escalation plan against Israel, focusing on extensive attacks on northern Israeli communities. The group is reportedly awaiting a green light from Tehran before launching the offensive and has begun reinforcing its frontline positions north of the Litani River.

The sources indicated that any escalation will depend on increased American attacks against Iran or Washington authorizing Israel to intensify strikes on Iranian infrastructure. Hezbollah is currently conducting secret logistical and military preparations, including stockpiling food and relocating supplies to hidden militia locations along the frontlines. These steps are in anticipation of orders from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, which will determine the timing based on developments in US-Iran relations.

If Tehran issues commands, Hezbollah plans to shift its focus from targeting Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon to attacking civilian settlements in northern Israel. The group reportedly maintains tunnels and weapons caches in southern Lebanon, some unknown to Israel and Lebanon, containing arms, military equipment, and food. These resources are being moved to bases where fighters will assume new positions in preparation for the northern offensive once orders are received.
