Yaakov Bardugo: “I Don’t Care If He Continues”

Political commentator Yaakov Bardugo spoke today, Thursday, on Radio Galey Israel about the filing of an indictment against Yonatan Urich, and said: “Baharav-Miara and Amit Isman, beyond filing the indictment against Yonatan Urich, are doing something that must not be done. They are forbidding Yonatan Urich from speaking with any of the witnesses connected to the case, and then the prime minister, who did not even give testimony in the affair... they bring him in at the last minute as a witness and in effect forbid the Likud campaign from functioning. An aggressive action and an abuse of the power of office that must end.”

Bardugo called for a constitutional crisis and said: “I am in favor of creating a constitutional crisis against Salah a-Din and against the court. Simply tell them, ‘You are political players, we will meet after the elections.’ If after the elections we win, and whatever the character of the next justice minister may be, you will go home over the chaos you created in the State of Israel. Here I promise you: 30 days to 45 days later, Gali Baharav-Miara, Hagai Harosh, Amit Isman, Gil Limon, Sharon Afek, Anar Helman. This whole group, most of them will stand trial.”

Bardugo was asked again whether he would be justice minister and replied: “I don’t know. To your question, I want to be justice minister because I want to fix things. But I don’t care if Yariv Levin continues, he can בהחלט fix things.”

It should be noted that Bardugo’s remark is surprising, since he has often criticized Levin recently and claimed that he must replace him in his role as justice minister.
