Barak Abramov Denies Involvement in Violent Attacks on Japnika Chain Stores

Barak Abramov, owner of the Japnika restaurant chain, has responded to a series of violent attacks targeting his stores, which have drawn attention beyond the sports world. The incidents include six mutual assaults across Japnika branches, beginning with an attempted arson in Givatayim and grenade attacks in Ramat Gan and Kiryat Ono. On Tuesday, three more attacks occurred early morning in Netanya, Afula, and a shooting at the Herzliya branch.

Abramov was summoned for an open testimony regarding the conflict between the Mosli and Jarushi families, two criminal organizations believed to be involved. Although not a suspect, Abramov is considered the primary victim in this dispute. He testified that he does not understand the source of the conflict, denies owing or being owed money, and insists he has no personal enemies or involvement in the attacks.

A senior police official described the situation as a "mega event" involving four crime groups. Authorities are closely monitoring Japnika locations nationwide due to concerns for public safety and the potential escalation of violence. The police fear the conflict could become more extreme, highlighting the seriousness of the ongoing criminal feud affecting Abramov's business.
