Two Young Men Arrested for Grenade Attack in South Tel Aviv Amid Crime Family Feud Probe

Two young men, aged 17 and 19, were arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of throwing a fragmentation grenade at a car dealership in south Tel Aviv. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. near 9 Anatbi Street, where police responded to reports of an explosion. Officers and a bomb squad confirmed that a fragmentation grenade had been thrown at the site, causing minor damage to several vehicles but no injuries.

Following the attack, police launched an extensive investigation and located the suspects riding a motorcycle in Bnei Brak. During their arrest, a knife was found in the possession of one of the suspects. Authorities are currently working to link the two to the grenade attack through forensic evidence and other findings collected at the scene.

The police are also examining whether the attack is connected to the ongoing violent feud between the Mosli and Jarushi crime families, which has seen a recent surge in assaults. The suspects are being brought before the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, where the police will request an extension of their detention. The investigation is ongoing.
