Right-Wing Activists Block American Influencer Clavicular for 8 Hours in Tel Aviv Over Antisemitic Past
American social media influencer Brayden Peters, known as Clavicular, sparked controversy upon his arrival in Israel due to a past video where he sang Kanye West's antisemitic song "Hail Hitler." Right-wing activists Mordechai David and Asaf Guthelf confronted him outside the Kempinski Hotel in Tel Aviv, demanding a public apology. According to David, Peters stayed locked in his hotel room for eight hours to avoid confrontation.
The activists recorded a video call with Peters, pressing him to express love for Israel and apologize for his previous statements. Peters allegedly tried to send friends to calm the situation, but the activists insisted on a direct apology. Meanwhile, David clashed with hotel staff, accusing them of refusing him service and calling the police. He also recorded the hotel security guard demanding a minimum 300 shekel order to remain in the restaurant area, threatening legal action over the treatment.
The Kempinski Hotel stated it respects the right to protest but will not allow disruptions or harm to guest privacy, promising to maintain a quiet and safe environment. The activists posted a joint video summarizing their eight-hour vigil, with Guthelf saying, "We united to tell him to fly to Florida, we don't want to see him here." David added harsh personal insults and vowed to stay until Peters apologized.
This incident follows Peters' recent expulsion from a Tel Aviv club after being recognized. Peters claimed on his X account that the club owner apologized and offered compensation. Right-wing activists have pledged to continue monitoring Peters' activities throughout his stay in Israel.
