Or Zehavi Signs With Maccabi Kiryat Gat Ahead of National League Season

Or Zehavi, a 30-year-old defender with experience at Beitar Jerusalem and Hapoel Modiin, has signed with Maccabi Kiryat Gat. The club recently earned promotion from Liga Alef to the National League, marking a significant step up in competition. Zehavi began his youth career at Hapoel Jerusalem before moving to Beitar Jerusalem at a young age, later returning to Hapoel where he made his senior debut in 2016.

Throughout his career, Zehavi has played for several teams including two separate stints at Beitar Jerusalem, Bnei Yehuda, Maccabi Jaffa, and the Cypriot club Ionikos Nikaias. Last season, he represented Ironi Modiin. Joining Maccabi Kiryat Gat will be the seventh club of his professional career. This signing is part of the newly promoted club's efforts to strengthen its squad ahead of the upcoming National League season.
