Former MK Mosi Raz Confirms Hearing Naftali Bennett Support West Bank Outpost Evacuations

Mosi Raz, a former Knesset member from Meretz and current candidate with the Democrats party, expressed unexpected trust in Naftali Bennett regarding the future of settlements in Judea and Samaria. In an interview with Sharon Gal on Galei Yisrael radio, Raz discussed statements by his party leader Yair Golan about enlisting Bennett, Gadi Eizenkot, and Yair Lapid to support evacuations of unauthorized outposts.

When asked if Golan's claims about collaborating with center-right figures for outpost removals were realistic or campaign exaggerations, Raz affirmed their feasibility. He revealed that he personally heard Bennett say that all illegal outposts, those on private land, or outside Area C would be evacuated. Raz emphasized the significance of this stance, stating, "It's a lot."

Pressed on whether he believes Bennett, Raz responded without hesitation, "I believe him." He acknowledged past disagreements with Bennett and anticipated more but maintained his trust in Bennett's commitment to these evacuation plans.
