Maccabi Tel Aviv has announced the return of Shane Hunter, a Jewish forward considered Israeli, following a successful loan season in Poland. Hunter, who signed a three-year contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv last summer, was loaned to Legia Warsaw, a team competing in the Polish league and the FIBA Champions League. During his loan, Hunter gained valuable experience at high levels of European basketball and played a key role in helping Legia Warsaw secure the Polish championship.

Hunter posted solid averages of 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game throughout the season. His best performance came in the playoffs, where he scored 19 points in a standout game against Gornica. Legia Warsaw officially announced Hunter's departure on social media, expressing gratitude for his fighting spirit, commitment, and contribution to their title win.
