United Hatzalah Volunteers Reunite With Man Whose Life They Saved in Jerusalem

A heartfelt reunion took place in Jerusalem when United Hatzalah volunteers met with Yitzhak Vaser, 63, whose life they saved after he lost consciousness at Beit Israel synagogue. The rescue occurred on the second day of the Jewish holiday of Lag BaOmer, a detail Vaser highlighted during the meeting.

Ari Dablinger, one of the first responders, recounted receiving the emergency call about an unconscious man without pulse or breathing. Alongside Israel Litzman, Dablinger performed advanced resuscitation efforts including defibrillation, chest compressions, and ventilation. They were later joined by Dr. Adam Balin and paramedic Meir Zander. Miraculously, Vaser regained consciousness and was transported to the hospital. Two days later, he personally called Dablinger to express his gratitude.

The emotional gathering was marked by Vaser and his family thanking the volunteers for their dedication, swift response, and professional care. The volunteers were deeply moved to see Vaser healthy and hear that he had fully recovered from the incident.
