Gadi Yevarkan, a former Likud member of the Knesset, announced earlier this week his intention to establish a new political party. In an interview on Kan Reshet Bet on Monday, Yevarkan explained that his decision stems from the sidelining of social issues within Likud's agenda. He criticized the party culture, saying, "In Likud, they expect you to be a 'yes man,' and I am not that." He questioned whether anyone in Likud can express an independent opinion. Additionally, Yevarkan expressed a surprising stance regarding left-wing politician Itamar Ben-Gvir, stating, "May Itamar Ben-Gvir grow as much as possible."
