Likud Primaries Set to Reserve Seven Slots in Top 30 for Netanyahu's Picks
The Likud Constitution Committee, chaired by party center head Minister Haim Katz, convened on Monday to discuss the primary election system with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who leads the Likud movement. During the meeting, Netanyahu presented an updated proposal regarding the party's Knesset candidate list. The plan grants the Prime Minister seven reserved slots within the top 30 positions on the list. Specifically, three reserved spots will be in the top ten, another three in the second ten, and one reserved slot in the third ten. Further details are expected to be released by the Likud Constitution Committee.
