US Strikes Multiple Targets Deep Inside Iran, Iran Retaliates in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced it conducted overnight strikes on dozens of targets inside Iran. The attacks targeted air defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile capabilities, drones, and small boats. Notably, the US military employed suicide boats for the first time in these operations. The strikes were carried out along Iran's entire coastline, with a focus on Khuzestan province, which is rich in energy facilities. This marks the first time since the ceasefire that the US has targeted locations deep within Iran rather than just near the Strait of Hormuz. In response, Iran launched attacks on targets in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
