Ra'am Leader Mansour Abbas Vows Arab Vote Will Topple Current Israeli Government
Mansour Abbas, chairman of the United Arab List (Ra'am), outlined a clear goal ahead of the upcoming Israeli elections: to mobilize the Arab vote to enable the formation of a change coalition. On Friday, Ra'am held a conference in the Galilee town of Kabul titled "Kabul - Towards Greater Influence," attended by hundreds of local residents. In his speech, Abbas declared the party's aim to replace what he called the "racist fascist government" with a government of change, thereby increasing the Arab community's influence on decision-making in Israel.
Abbas emphasized that influence is not merely a slogan or wishful thinking but a precise action plan to be implemented according to predetermined goals. He asserted that on election day, the Arab vote would be decisive in toppling the current government. Other speakers at the event included Knesset members Iman Khatib-Yasin and Yasser Hajirat, Ra'am Secretary-General Daoud Afana, and Ra'am's political coordinator in Kabul, Mahmoud Rayan.
The speakers highlighted Ra'am's aspiration to become a complementary bloc that will assist in forming the next "government of change." They also pledged to work within the coalition to promote the interests of Kabul, particularly focusing on expanding construction areas in the town.
