A devastating wildfire in the Los Guajardos area of Almeria province in southeastern Spain has claimed at least 11 lives, authorities reported amid a heatwave sweeping southern Europe. The blaze has also injured six people and forced the evacuation of approximately 1,000 residents from their homes. Around 150 firefighters, supported by additional forces, continue to battle the flames. Authorities have confirmed that 19 individuals remain missing as the fire is now considered the deadliest wildfire in Spain in over 20 years, according to Reuters.
