Young Man Dies in Collision with Truck on Route 90 in Arava

A 25-year-old man died early Friday morning in a collision between his private vehicle and a truck on Route 90 near Sapir Airfield in the Arava region. The incident was reported to Magen David Adom's emergency center at 04:22. Paramedics and medics arrived at the scene to find the young man unconscious with severe injuries. Despite medical efforts, his injuries were fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the site. Firefighters from Dimona and Sapir stations conducted a complex rescue operation to extract the victim from the vehicle, but he was found without signs of life. Paramedic Moshe Asulin described the victim as a man in his twenties who suffered critical trauma in the serious road accident. The rescue teams confirmed the victim was removed from the car deceased after extensive extraction efforts.
