Over 300 Bereaved Fathers Gather at Special Event for Families Affected by October 7 Massacre
More than 300 bereaved fathers attended a special evening event held at Psagot Winery, organized by the group "Our Children," which supports families and children impacted by the October 7 massacre. Among the attendees were Reuven Yablonka, father of the late Hanan Yablonka; Itzik Guaily, father of the late Ran Guaily; and Mendi Katz, father of the late Staff Sergeant Moshe Katz, who traveled from Connecticut to participate. Mendi Katz reflected on his son's legacy, saying, "They called him a lone soldier, but after his death, I learned he was far from alone. His friendships and connections within his unit, both religious and secular, showed how my son succeeded in uniting them." The event served as a moment of solidarity and remembrance for families who lost loved ones in the tragic events of October 7.
