Maccabi Haifa Forward Omer Dahan Expected to Join Hapoel Kfar Saba Amid Legal Case
Omer Dahan, the young striker for Maccabi Haifa, is currently under suspicion in a criminal case. He was initially arrested and placed under house arrest but was released from house arrest about two weeks ago. Dahan is now awaiting the closure of the investigation, with those close to him confident that all allegations will be proven unfounded, allowing him to return to playing football.
Before the legal issues arose, Maccabi Haifa informed Dahan that he was free to seek a transfer and that the club would not obstruct his move. Hapoel Kfar Saba has emerged as the main club interested in signing him. Due to a cooperation agreement between the clubs, Dahan may begin training with Hapoel Kfar Saba soon.
Last season, Dahan was loaned to Hapoel Ra'anana, where he scored five goals in half a season. He has scored three goals for Maccabi Haifa's senior team and was the top scorer in the youth Premier League in the 2023/24 season with 24 goals. The club and player are awaiting the final outcome of the legal proceedings before confirming his future.
