Former Housing Ministry Aide Moti Babchik Still Uses Ministry Resources After Resignation
Moti Babchik, who resigned from his position as assistant to former Housing Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf last year, continues to receive support from the Housing Ministry. According to a report by Avishai Greenstein on i24NEWS, a ministry employee in the office of current Housing Minister Haim Katz still manages Babchik's schedule and arranges meetings for him. Additionally, another ministry staff member has recently started driving Babchik using a ministry vehicle, after a previous driver stopped following media exposure of the issue.
The Housing Ministry responded to the allegations by stating that the claims are unfamiliar to them and that ministry employees strongly deny engaging in any activities unrelated to the ministry and its official duties. This situation raises questions about the use of government resources by former officials no longer holding office.
