Justin Bieber to Perform at 2026 World Cup Final Halftime Show in New Jersey

FIFA announced on Wednesday that Justin Bieber will join the halftime show at the 2026 World Cup final, scheduled for July 19 at the MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey. This will be the first-ever halftime show in a World Cup final's history, lasting 11 minutes. Bieber is part of a star-studded lineup including BTS, Shakira, Madonna, Coldplay, Burna Boy, and Gustavo Dudamel. The show will be artistically directed by Chris Martin, Coldplay's lead singer, who also helped produce the 2025 Club World Cup final halftime show at the same venue and will perform in the 2026 final as well.

Shakira, a long-time World Cup icon, will participate after previously performing the 2010 South Africa anthem "Waka Waka." She is also involved in the official 2026 tournament song "Dai Dai" alongside Burna Boy. Madonna joins following her "Confessions II" album release, while BTS is currently on a global stadium tour. The halftime show is produced by Global Citizen with Martin's assistance. Despite the extensive list of performers, the entire show will be concise, with each artist contributing a brief segment within the joint production.
