Israeli Commentator Guy Maroz Calls Trump 'Crazy' Over Iran Threats on Channel 14
On Wednesday evening during the Channel 14 program "The Patriots," left-leaning panelist Guy Maroz sharply criticized U.S. President Donald Trump following his recent threats to attack Iran. Maroz described Trump as "crazy" and said he "needs to be treated," highlighting what he sees as erratic behavior. The discussion was prompted by a notable shift in Trump's stance toward Tehran.
Previously, Trump had referred to the Iranian regime as "rational people" with whom dialogue was possible. However, in recent statements, Trump threatened a renewed military strike, saying, "We will probably attack Iran again tonight, hit them hard."
Host Yinon Magal expressed confusion over this sudden change and asked Maroz for his analysis. Maroz acknowledged Iran's regime as "terrible and horrible" but emphasized Trump's inconsistency, stating that just two to three weeks ago, Trump claimed the regime was new and open to negotiations. Maroz concluded that Trump's behavior is not merely inconsistent but indicative of madness, asserting that Trump "needs to be in a place where they treat him."
