Pro-Palestinian Extremists Attack Couple with Baby in Antisemitic Incident in Berlin
A couple pushing a baby stroller was verbally and physically attacked over the weekend in Berlin by a man and a woman shouting antisemitic slurs. The assailants, including a woman wearing a keffiyeh and a man wearing a shirt emblazoned with "Intifada," targeted the couple with hateful chants such as "Fuck Jews," "Kill the Jews," and "Viva Hamas." A German passerby who witnessed the incident began recording it on her phone but was then threatened and shoved by the man, identified as an extreme pro-Palestinian activist. The witness, familiar with antisemitism from her work in Israel, fled and filed a police complaint. Berlin police have launched an investigation into incitement and insult offenses, led by the state security unit of the district attorney's office. The male suspect is reportedly a former member of the far-right NPD party and the extremist "Youth Resistance" group, which was disbanded in 2019 due to its antisemitic stance.
