Elisaf Peretz Joins New Party Led by Trooper, Hendel, and Shapira

Elisaf Peretz, an educator, reservist, and social activist, has announced his joining of the new political party formed by Hili Trooper, Yoaz Hendel, and Shira Shapira. The party, which declared its joint run earlier on Tuesday, has yet to be tested in polls, leaving its chances of passing the electoral threshold uncertain.

Peretz is the bereaved brother of Israeli heroes Lieutenant Uriel Peretz and Major Aliraz Peretz, both of whom were killed in service. According to sources close to Hendel, the party's core principles focus on issues related to religion and state, as well as security. Notably, the party has committed to a complete boycott of any coalition agreements with ultra-Orthodox or Arab parties.

Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the Yisrael party, quickly praised the union, calling Hili Trooper a unifying and experienced leader essential for Israel's recovery. Eisenkot emphasized the party's role in forming a Zionist and national government that will unite the nation and restore Israel's proper path, stating, "Israel must win, and it will win."
