Israeli A Cappella Group Rabati Unites Hebrew Hits in Viral Summer Medley
The professional a cappella group Rabati has released a powerful Hebrew medley titled "The Hebrew Medley," which compiles some of the most uplifting recent hits in Israeli music. The project, inspired by the American duo The Songsters, features 14 short viral videos conveying messages of faith and gratitude. These videos have collectively garnered over 196,000 views, with the rendition of "Tamid Ohev Oti" alone reaching more than 120,000 views on the popular Facebook page Jewish Music Only.
Rabati, known also as a successful live band, aims to bring joy, energy, inspiration, and hope to the Israeli public through music and voice alone. The medley includes collaborations with a diverse group of participants such as cantors, wedding singers, new immigrants, veteran Israelis, and band leaders, each contributing their unique style. Producer Yonatan Stern also joined the performers on camera, adding to the rich vocal tapestry.
The medley features well-known songs like "Tamid Ohev Oti" (with Avia Nachshon), "Tachshov Tov Yihiye Tov" (with Yonatan Stern), "Ani Shayach LaAm" (with Meir Ben Dror), "Toda Raba Hashem" (with Daniel Yehuda), "Ki Anu Amecha" (with Leizer Brook), "Ki Kacha Hashem Ratzah" (with Shmulik Yeshurun), and "Lechi Olamim" (with Josh Walmark).
Following the viral success and positive responses from original artists on Instagram, Rabati compiled the short clips into a continuous listening experience. The medley will soon be released in an English version targeting an international audience. Additionally, the Hebrew medley has been officially added to the playlist of Ze'ev Brenner's influential radio program in the United States.
Rabati members expressed their excitement about the project, emphasizing their mission: "The message is simple: the more we connect to God and to each other, the more light we can spread in the world. We are grateful for the great privilege to be part of this mission and to use our voices to bring joy, hope, and strength to the people of Israel at this time."
