Michael Brisker Joins Maccabi Rishon LeZion Ahead of 2026/27 Season
Maccabi Rishon LeZion officially announced the signing of 28-year-old guard Michael Brisker for the 2026/27 basketball season. Standing 1.85 meters tall, Brisker brings extensive experience from the Israeli Premier League, having played for teams including Ironi Kiryat Ata, Hapoel Gilboa/Galil, Maccabi Haifa, and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
In the 2024/25 season, Brisker played for the London Lions, averaging 13.3 points per game with a 40% three-point shooting percentage, along with 2.4 rebounds and 4 assists per game. Although he signed with Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan for the 2025/26 season, an injury prevented him from participating actively that year.
The club praised Brisker as one of the top Israeli shooters in the league, highlighting his excellent outside shooting, playmaking skills, and confidence in clutch moments. The team welcomed him warmly and wished him success in the upcoming season.
