Worker Assaults Customer Over Spare Tire Dispute at Afula Repair Shop
A worker at a tire repair shop in Afula violently attacked a customer on Monday after the customer requested that the spare tire be returned to its place following the puncture repair. The employee was caught on video repeatedly punching and kicking the customer, knocking him to the ground and continuing to threaten him afterward. Another employee intervened to separate them and removed the attacker from the scene. The worker did not appear to return the spare tire to its place after the incident. The police arrested the suspect, a 23-year-old resident of Nazareth, and plan to request an extension of his detention at the Nof HaGalil-Nazareth Magistrate's Court.
