Thousands Gather in Netanya to Mourn Rabbi Amos Guetta After Tragic Murder

A large memorial gathering was held on Monday evening in Netanya to honor the late Rabbi Amos Guetta, a revered tzaddik and kabbalist who was tragically murdered by a relative. The event took place at the hall of his yeshiva, where he taught Torah and inspired thousands over many years. Leading rabbis and heads of yeshivas delivered emotional eulogies, mourning the loss of a remarkable spiritual figure.

Chief Rabbi David Yosef spoke at the memorial, describing Rabbi Guetta as "an angel who lived a life of holiness, detached from worldly matters and wholly devoted to God." His words highlighted the profound impact Rabbi Guetta had on the Torah world and the deep sorrow felt by the community.

Throughout the day, crowds from across Israel visited Rabbi Guetta’s grave in the veteran cemetery of Netanya to pray and seek blessings on the seventh day after his passing. Plans were announced to construct a large, ornate tent near his gravesite to accommodate visitors who come to pray and ask for salvation at this holy site.
