On Independence Day night, the brutality of those involved was exposed, but what was surprising was the young age of the suspects. After some initial stagnation in the investigation and in response to the shocking murder, the police succeeded in cracking the case, and two weeks later indictments were already filed against 16 teenagers, aged just 13 to 15: “The fact that a person was murdered does not affect them in any way.”
