Oil Tanker Attacked Near Oman Using Unknown Weaponry, No Casualties Reported

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that an oil tanker sailing near Oman was attacked with an unidentified weapon. The vessel was traveling south approximately 15 kilometers east of the port of Lima on Oman's eastern coast when the incident occurred. Following the attack, a fire broke out on the tanker. However, there were no injuries among the crew, and no environmental damage was reported.
