Dell Conducts Layoffs Affecting Several Dozens of Employees in Israel

Global technology company Dell has initiated layoffs in its Israeli operations, with several dozen development employees receiving termination notices, according to information obtained by ynet. While Dell confirmed the layoffs, it declined to provide specific figures. Unlike other major tech firms that have recently undergone large-scale, widely publicized layoffs, Dell's reductions in Israel have not yet reached a broad scale.

Dell employs approximately 1,000 people in Israel, a significant portion of whom joined through acquisitions such as EMC and other purchases over the years. The workforce is distributed across four main centers: Herzliya, which serves as the primary development site, Beersheba, Haifa, and Or Yehuda. The Or Yehuda location houses the sales, service, and business headquarters.

This development marks a notable shift as Dell adjusts its Israeli workforce amid global restructuring efforts, though the company has so far avoided a sweeping layoff wave in the country.
