Massive Crowds Cause Traffic Jams at Rabbi Yitzhak Gabara Pilgrimage in Ajjur

Heavy traffic congestion was reported overnight at the Sarigim and Luzit junctions leading to parking areas for the annual pilgrimage to Rabbi Yitzhak Gabara's tomb in Ajjur. Many pilgrims chose to arrive during nighttime hours, causing significant crowding on all routes to the event. Starting Monday morning, thousands of visitors arrived by public transportation, organized shuttles, and private cars. They were directed to a continuous shuttle system transporting them from parking lots to the "Mehadrin Road" in Eretz Kedem and then to the burial site.

Due to the hot weather, a water truck distributed thousands of cups of water to the worshippers in the courtyard of the tomb. The crowd followed orderly instructions from the event marshals, praying in a circular flow that allowed smooth entry and exit without delays. Organizers expressed hope that the prayers would be accepted favorably and invoked the protection of Rabbi Yitzhak Gabara's merit over all Israel.

The pilgrimage attracted tens of thousands of participants, reflecting the deep reverence for Rabbi Gabara. The event was managed with strict crowd control and logistical support to ensure safety and accessibility despite the large turnout and challenging weather conditions.
