Brazilian Influencer Carol Belchior Stabbed to Death by Ex-Partner After Party

Carol Belchior, a 27-year-old Brazilian influencer and mother from Belo Horizonte, was fatally stabbed early Saturday morning near her home in the Diadema neighborhood. According to police, her ex-boyfriend, a 26-year-old man, waited for her after she returned from a punk party following a night at the gym where she worked. He attacked her with a knife and was arrested within hours in Belo Horizonte. Authorities charged him with femicide, a gender-based murder.

Carol had approximately 500,000 followers on social media, where she shared fitness videos, family moments, daily content, and commercial promotions. In the days before her death, she posted about relationships and breakups, questioning the role of a man in offering protection, love, care, and respect. Family and friends mourned her as a joyful woman with many dreams and plans, tragically cut short by someone who claimed to love her. Relatives also expressed sorrow that her young son would grow up without his mother.
