Gal De Paz Opens Up About Polyamory and New Song on Love and Heartbreak

Israeli musician Gal De Paz released a new song this week titled "Can't Die From Love," which explores themes of heartbreak and love. In a recent interview with Iris Kol on 103fm, De Paz discussed her romantic worldview, revealing that she leads a polyamorous lifestyle. She stated, "I believe in multiple loves" and confirmed she maintains several relationships simultaneously. De Paz explained that while some may find this concept difficult, it works for her, especially as someone who was previously married.

When asked about the challenges of finding partners for such relationships, she acknowledged the difficulty but emphasized the importance of searching thoroughly. De Paz also shared a personal philosophy, saying, "The greatest love story in your life is with yourself. When you love yourself, love for others expands. Sometimes, when we struggle to love ourselves, we become overly dependent on others' love, which can be suffocating."

Regarding the creation of her new song, De Paz described writing it from a place of vulnerability and love after a period of emotional closure. She concluded that no matter what happens, "the worst thing is that I will cry a lot, but I will not die. I will rise stronger." Gal De Paz is scheduled to perform at the Tel Aviv Culture Hall on July 30.
