Jewish Community in Shiraz Pledges Loyalty to Mojtaba Khamenei at Ali Khamenei's Funeral

The Jewish community of Shiraz participated in the funeral of Ali Khamenei, emphasizing their commitment to continuing the late leader's ideals. Amir Ala Salar, chairman of the Shiraz Jewish community, praised Ali Khamenei for his special regard toward Abrahamic religions, particularly the Jewish community in Iran, since the beginning of the Islamic Republic era. He highlighted that inspired by Ayatollah Khomeini's teachings, who distinguished Judaism from Zionism, Ali Khamenei fostered an environment of coexistence for all Abrahamic faiths in Iran.

Salar recalled the Jewish community's contributions and sacrifices during the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s and noted Ayatollah Khomeini's demonstration of solidarity and equality among religions during his visit to the Abrahamic religions memorial. The Shiraz Jewish community leader declared loyalty to Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not appeared publicly since the outbreak of the recent Tiger Roar War in February. Salar condemned the assassination of Ali Khamenei, attributing it to the American-Israeli enemy, but affirmed that the ideals of the late Ayatollah endure through Mojtaba Khamenei's leadership.

He also emphasized the enthusiastic presence of the Iranian Jewish community at the funeral, marking their farewell to the spiritual leader. This public declaration of loyalty signals the community's support for the new leadership amid ongoing regional tensions.
