The funeral procession of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran saw a significant presence of top Iranian government and security officials alongside close family members. Among those attending were Revolutionary Guards commander Ahmad Vahidi and Quds Force leader Esmail Qaani. Three of Khamenei's sons, Mostafa, Masoud, and Misam Hosseini, were publicly seen mourning their father's death for the first time since the announcement. However, his other son and designated spiritual successor, Mojtaba Khamenei, was notably absent and has not appeared publicly since being named the new spiritual leader.

The central funeral ceremony included speeches with aggressive rhetoric. The event's host, a regime affiliate, directly urged the crowd to act against U.S. President Donald Trump, declaring that "the world is no longer a safe place for him." Religious figures called for Trump's assassination, describing it as a responsibility on their shoulders. The crowd echoed familiar chants from regime protests, including "Death to America" and "Death to Israel." Official banners at the event also called for attacks on Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

This funeral marked a rare public appearance of Khamenei's family members and highlighted the regime's continued hostile stance toward the United States and Israel amid leadership transitions.
