Netanyahu Accuses Media of Aligning with Opposition Amid Gaza Comments

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sharply criticized the Israeli media during a recent government meeting, accusing most news outlets of acting as a political party that echoes and sometimes creates opposition messages. He stated, "Most media channels are a political party. They receive messages from the opposition and sometimes even generate them." Regarding the situation in Gaza, Netanyahu emphasized that reconstruction will not occur without the disarmament and demilitarization of the designated area. He advocated for freedom of movement for Gazans, saying those who want to leave should be allowed to do so, while those who remain must not pose threats to Israel. Netanyahu also claimed that the threat from Gaza has been neutralized due to significant demand in the Gaza envelope communities, which he described as "a new Gaza envelope inside Gaza."
