Shira Zaluf Officially Joins Star-Studded Cast of Festigal 2026
Young Israeli singer Shira Zaluf has officially joined the cast of Festigal 2026, the popular annual Hanukkah musical show. Zaluf gained national fame after finishing third in the latest season of "The Next Star," captivating millions with her powerful voice and stage presence. Since then, she has performed sold-out shows across Israel, released several original songs, and participated in major events such as the 78th Independence Day State Ceremony at Mount Herzl.
Zaluf's recent notable works include hit singles like "Maariv LaNoar," "Knight on a White Horse in the Middle of Florentin," and "Don't Like Movies." She also collaborated with singer Yuval Gold on the duet "Tomorrow Will Come Tomorrow," a song written during the war that resonated deeply with many amid ongoing uncertainty. Zaluf described her performance at the State Ceremony as a dream come true, recalling how she once aspired to perform at school memorial events.
Joining Zaluf in Festigal 2026 is a high-profile lineup including guest artist Eden Ben Zaken, reportedly earning over 2 million shekels, potentially making her the highest-paid guest artist in Festigal history. Singer and actor Shahar Taboch returns for his third Festigal appearance after winning last year’s song contest. Social media stars Idan Telem and Hili Toldano are confirmed, while negotiations continue with singers Itay Levi and Noa Kirel. With this mix of established pop stars, emerging talents, and internet celebrities, Festigal 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about shows in recent years.
The production team and fans now await announcements of additional cast members for the upcoming Hanukkah event.
