Construction Worker Falls 5 Meters in Central Israel, Hospitalized in Serious Condition

A construction worker in his 50s fell approximately 5 meters at a building site on President Yitzhak Ben-Zvi Street in Herzliya on Sunday morning. Emergency teams arrived at the scene to find the man unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury. Paramedics Kira Simonds and Neve Harel provided medical treatment and transported him in serious and unstable condition to Ichilov Hospital for advanced care.

The incident highlights ongoing safety concerns at construction sites across Israel, where several similar accidents have occurred in recent months. Notably, two workers died after falling five stories at a site in Ramat Hasharon, and another 72-year-old worker was fatally injured after falling from the fourth floor in Bnei Brak while dismantling a window grille.
