Israeli Police Arrest Car Theft Ring During Attempted Heist in Central Israel

The Central Unit of the Shomron and Yehuda District police arrested a group of car thieves while they were attempting to steal vehicles in central Israel. Officers spotted a vehicle from which two suspects were unloading and trying to break into two cars. The police intervened immediately, apprehending the suspects and preventing the theft. During the search, the police seized car-breaking tools and keys.

Simultaneously, another vehicle with two suspects was located. These suspects fled, breaking through a police checkpoint and driving recklessly against traffic. The two suspects, aged 16 and 19 and residents of Nablus and Jenin, were arrested and taken for questioning. Further arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
