Jihadist Militias Launch Coordinated Attacks on Five Mali Towns

Jihadist militias and rebel fighters in Mali have launched coordinated attacks simultaneously across five locations in the country. According to a statement from the Malian army broadcast on state television, the targeted towns include Anfis and Aguelhok in the north, Gao and Sawara in the center, and Kaniouraba in the south. The military reported that the situation is currently "under control."
