US Warns Allies of Potential Russian Provocations Against NATO Ally Poland

The United States has issued an urgent official warning to its allies that Russia is considering provocative actions and targeted attacks against Poland, a NATO member state. According to American intelligence assessments, these measures aim to test NATO's readiness to respond to direct threats and undermine international support for continued military aid to Ukraine. Potential scenarios include missile or drone strikes on Polish energy infrastructure and critical facilities, as well as limited incursions by small Russian military units across the border.

Polish sources close to President Karol Nawrocki confirmed that Washington has repeatedly communicated these warnings to Warsaw. Polish officials acknowledge that such operations could take place within the coming months, with the Kremlin seeking to create acute security tensions to pressure Western countries into reconsidering their military support for Kyiv. Intelligence reports highlight possible drone attacks on power plants, simulated air strikes to force Poland to reveal its air defenses, and controlled ground infiltrations.
