Israeli Air Force Strikes About 10 Hezbollah Sites and Arms Truck in Southern Lebanon
The Israeli Air Force, guided by Division 91, conducted precise strikes on approximately 10 Hezbollah facilities in southern Lebanon on Thursday. The targeted locations included areas around Bint Jbeil, Beit Yahoun, Kounine, and Barashit. These sites were reportedly used by Hezbollah to plan terrorist activities against Israeli Defense Forces operating in the security zone.
The strikes were carried out in response to attacks on Israeli forces in the security zone by Hezbollah, which also violated existing agreements. Additionally, during the night between Thursday and Friday, Division 91 forces identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell transporting weapons via a truck near the security zone in southern Lebanon. The Israeli Air Force promptly attacked the truck to neutralize the threat to Israeli troops. Subsequent explosions confirmed the presence of weapons in the vehicle.
The Israeli military emphasized that these operations aimed to prevent further terrorist threats and maintain security along the border area.
