Six Injured in Bus-Car Collision in Safed Including One Critically Hurt
Six people were injured in a traffic accident on Friday involving a bus and a private vehicle in Safed, northern Israel. Among the injured was a man in his twenties who sustained severe injuries and was trapped inside his heavily damaged car. Firefighters conducted a rescue operation to free him, after which he was evacuated to Ziv Hospital in serious condition.
Five others were also hurt in the crash, including a 24-year-old woman who was moderately injured and four others with minor injuries. Magen David Adom paramedics and medics at the scene provided life-saving treatment to the critically injured man during the rescue.
Earlier the same day, a police vehicle struck a teenager in Tayibe, causing minor injuries. According to police, the incident occurred after the youth suddenly entered the road from a vehicle he was in. The officers administered initial medical care before the teenager was taken to a medical center for further treatment.
