Senator John Kennedy Reveals Iran's Nuclear Blackmail Plan Threatening Europe with Missiles

Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana disclosed that classified American intelligence reveals Iran is preparing an extensive missile and drone arsenal aimed not only at Israel and the Middle East but also key European targets such as London, Paris, and Germany. In an interview on the podcast "This Past Weekend" hosted by Theo Von, Kennedy stated he personally reviewed the intelligence but could only share a general outline. The intelligence indicates Iran is developing both ballistic and cruise missile capabilities.

According to Kennedy, Tehran intends to amass a large stockpile of missiles and drones to leverage nuclear blackmail against the US and Israel, warning that if efforts to halt their nuclear program continue, Iran would retaliate by devastating the Middle East and threatening major European cities. Kennedy linked this intelligence to former President Donald Trump's decisions to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, emphasizing Trump faced a choice to either allow Iran to build a threatening military capacity or intervene to stop it. Kennedy confirmed Trump chose to act.

While the US did not destroy Iran's entire missile infrastructure, Kennedy asserted Iran does not currently pose an immediate nuclear threat. However, the regime retains centrifuges and the capability to resume nuclear weapons production in the future. Kennedy's remarks come amid ongoing US debates over Trump's Iran policy and conservative criticism that Washington is overly involved in conflicts favoring Israel. Kennedy rejected this, identifying the Iranian regime as the primary threat in the Middle East due to its support for Hamas and Hezbollah and its regional ambitions.
