Anfernee Simons Signs Two-Year Deal with Philadelphia 76ers, Declines Warriors

The NBA free agency market is active, with Anfernee Simons agreeing to a two-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers worth $12.3 million per season. Simons, who previously played alongside Deni Avdija in Portland, averaged 14.3 points and 3.4 assists per game last season split between Boston and Chicago. He will replace Quentin Grimes, who signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, and will join teammates Jalen Brown, V.J. Edgecomb, and Tyrese Maxey in Philadelphia.

Last year, Simons posted stronger numbers with Portland, averaging 19.3 points and 4.8 assists per game.
