Daughter of Kibbutz Holit Victims Condemns Government for Ignoring Accountability

Shir Matias, daughter of Shahar and Shlomi who were murdered in their home in Kibbutz Holit during the October 7 attack, spoke at a rally in Tel Aviv. She expressed deep frustration over the government's handling of the tragedy, stating that it has been 1,000 days without accountability or answers regarding responsibility for the attack. Matias accused the government of disrespecting the victims and ignoring the suffering of their families, even making jokes at their expense. She called for all officials in power on October 7, whether in civilian or military roles, to step down. Matias emphasized that only a neutral, professional, and non-political state commission of inquiry can uncover the truth about the events of that day.
