Children's Star Hani Nahmias Reveals Hearing Loss Struggle on TV

In a recent episode of the show "Power Couple," children’s entertainer Hani Nahmias openly disclosed her long-hidden hearing impairment. Nahmias revealed that she wears two hearing aids after discovering she hears only about 10 percent in one ear and 15 percent in the other. This condition was identified roughly a year and a half ago when her daughter noticed her difficulty hearing.

Nahmias explained that she concealed her hearing loss for many years due to the stigma it carries in her profession as a singer and actor, describing it as a flaw. She shared the emotional challenge of managing her condition on stage, relying on amplification systems, while daily life remains difficult. The heartfelt revelation moved the show's participants, including Adi Bouzaglo, who comforted her and encouraged viewing her openness as a source of strength and inspiration for others facing similar challenges.

Nahmias admitted that even close friends were unaware of her condition.
