Hapoel Be'er Sheva Stages Comeback to Beat Radomiak Radom 3-2 in Season Opener
Hapoel Be'er Sheva began their 2026/27 preseason campaign with an impressive 3-2 victory over Polish side Radomiak Radom on Wednesday. The team, coached by Ran Kozuch, fell behind early with two goals from Konate and Watra by the 35th minute, putting goalkeeper Ofir Marciano under pressure. Just before halftime, Mohammed Abu Romi scored to reduce the deficit following a well-executed team move.
In the second half, Kozuch made several substitutions, bringing on Marco Wolf, Yoav Koren, and debutant Niv Yehoshua, which helped Be'er Sheva gain greater control of the match. Goals from Roy Levi in the 66th minute and Javon East in the 89th minute completed the comeback and secured the win.
Looking ahead, Hapoel Be'er Sheva will face Omonia Nicosia in their next friendly on July 5, followed by a match against Maccabi Tel Aviv for the Champion of Champions title on July 16. Their European campaign will commence on July 21.
